(Harlan) The Harlan City Council Tuesday evening held a public hearing on the proposed sale of city-owned property, lots 41-44 in G.H. Christiansen Subdivision, to Michelle Vargas.
City Administrator Gene Gettys said Vargas is intending to build two homes.
Gettys said by July 5th-7th Vargas will need to sign the agreement, which is the closing, and it would be effective from that date.
There were no oral or written comments during the hearing and the Council approved the resolution for the sale of the property to Michelle Vargas for the price of $4,000.
