The board set the public hearing on the Zoning Commission’s Recommendation for Tuesday, June 27th at 9:00 a.m.
The Board also set a public hearing on a request to vacate a portion of Pella Road in Union Township for Tuesday, June 27th at 9:00 a.m. This is a dirt road about three-quarters of a mile long that the adjacent landowner would like to vacate so they can farm it.
In other action, the Supervisors approved the Auditing Firm Contract with Gronewald, Bell, Kyhnn & Co. P.C. They approved the updated 28E Agreement between Cass County and Guthrie County Environmental Health. The Supervisors acknowledged receipt of certification of deputies wages from the County Recorder, Treasurer, Auditor and Sheriff and determined the compensation of extra help and clerks appointed by the principal county officers for Fiscal Year 2024. The Board also set the salary of the County Engineer at $131,000.
