(Des Moines, IA) Three Iowa police officers are seriously hurt after responding to a domestic dispute. The Des Moines Police Department says one officer was stabbed in the thigh, one was bitten, and another was kicked in the face during an arrest Sunday. Police say a woman called, saying her ex-boyfriend refused to leave her home in the 73-hundred block of SW 15th Street. Three officers responded to the call and were hurt while arresting the man, 32-year-old Pierce Nicholas Cruz. None of the injuries are life-threatening, but each is recovering in the hospital
