In other news, the Audubon City Attorney has resigned effective at the end of June. The Council motioned to have Joe Foran, the Mayor and a Councilmember talk to an attorney that has shown some interest in taking over that position. Foran said he hopes they can have a recommendation for the Council in July.
Also at Monday’s meeting, the Council elected to submit a request to MidAmerican Energy to put in a street light on the end of Davis Street. The Council agreed to ask for another engineer’s opinion on what to do to fix the erosion on the Hahn Street culvert.
