(Creston) Creston Police report five arrests and one theft over the weekend.
On Saturday, Creston Police arrested 67-year-old Julie Ann Madore at the intersection of Adams and Division for OWI 1st Offense. Officers transported Madore to the Union County Jail, and were released after posting the $1000 cash or surety bond.
On Saturday, Police arrested 38-year-old Charles Wayne Fry of Creston at the intersection of Sherman and Smith for OWI 1st Offense. Authorities transported Fry to the Union County Jail and released him on a $1000 cash bond.
On Saturday, Police arrested 37-year-old Douglas Edward Woodward III, 37, of Creston, at 403 E Townline. Officers transported Woodward to the Union County Jail for Violation of No Contact/Protection Order. Authorities released him later on bond.
On Saturday, Police arrested 33-year-old Rachel Marie Colburn of Creston at 403 E Townline. Colburn was charged with Violation of the No Contact/Protective Order. Colburn was transported to the Union County Jail and later to the Adams County Jail.
On Sunday, Creston Police arrested 53-year-old Kevin Lee Campbell at the intersection of Highway 34 and ¼ mile east of Osage for OWI 1st Offense. Police transported Campbell to the Union County Jail and were released on bond.
Jerry Novak, of 212 S. Sumner, reported that a heavy-set man in shorts entered his garage, took the cash box, and left during a garage sale. The loss is estimated at $175.00.
