(Des Moines) The summer orange barrel season continues with bumper-to-bumper traffic on the gateway to the Des Moines International Airport. Des Moines City Engineer Steve Nabory says Fleur Drive is being completely rebuilt between McKinley and Watrous avenues. The project will be completed next summer. Thirty-thousand cars and trucks take Fleur Drive every day. Major construction projects are also underway this summer on Ingersoll and University avenues.
