Evelyn Sager, 85, of Des Moines (formerly of Atlantic) peacefully passed from this life on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the Regency Care Center in Norwalk.
Funeral Services: Will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Atlantic, Iowa with Pastor Lauri Boysen officiating.
Visitation: The family will greet friends and share lunch immediately following the service at the church. The Merle Hay Funeral Home in Des Moines is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors: She is survived by her children, Marcy (Mark) Anderson of Norwalk, IA, Mitzi Sager of Englewood, CO, Mick (LaVon) Sager of Atlantic, IA and her step-daughter Linda Rae Orfield of Clinton, MO; her grandchildren: Jacob Hansen of Des Moines, IA, Andrew Hansen of Cedar Falls, IA, Melissa (Phil) Jones of Reston, VA, Brandon Pollack of Littleton, CO, Nicole Pollack of Englewood, CO, Whitney (Jesse) Baxter of Cambridge, IA, Heather (Eric Kirchner) Sager, Jordan (Kyle) Dailey, Tucker (Meaghan) Sager, all of Atlantic, IA, Chrissy (Cory) Schmidt of Webb City, MO, and Amy (Dennis) Setzer of Harrisonville, MO; 14 great-grandchildren; her sister, Doris Wolken of Earlham, IA; and nieces and nephews.
