(Stanton) A Stanton woman was arrested for Domestic Abuse Simple Assault. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a physical domestic abuse call in the 2300 block of L. Avenue in Stanton today (Thursday). Deputies conducted an investigation at the scene and as a result, 24-year-old Emily Joann Bass of rural Stanton was arrested and charged. Bass was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and held on no bond pending her appearance before the Magistrate.
