(Cass Co) The Cass County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution to receive and earmark funds received from the sale of the county-owned farm.
Board Chairman Steve Baier said the resolution states they resolve the funds received from the sale of the county-owned farm in the amount of $1,711,957 shall be held in a segregated bank account with Rolling Hills Bank & Trust controlled solely by the Board of Supervisors. Any interest and/or income generated from this account will go back into this segregated account.
In other action, the Board approved a resolution approving the Cass County Investment Policy and a resolution amending the FY23 Secondary Roads Budget for submission to the Iowa Department of Transportation.
The Supervisors also heard a report from Engineer Trent Wolken who reported that crews should be completing a deck pour on bridge #32 on 680th Street around June 1st and crews have removed the deck panels and are working on demolition of the piers and abutments on bridge #380 near Anita.
