(Atlantic) The Atlantic Chamber Ambassadors were hosted by SHIFT ATL on Thursday May 18th, 2023, during a ribbon-cutting of Sunnyside Range.
Sunnyside Range, previously known as “Sunnyside Putt Em Up,” was purchased in 2022 by SHIFT ATL when owners, Tim & Cindy Teig, were looking to retire after 40 years. SHIFT ATL and the Sunnyside Range staff not only want to uphold the tradition started by Tim and Cindy, but they plan to enhance the course with new technology, concessions, birthday parties, special events, and more.
Sunnyside Range will hold their first large public event on Thursday, May 25th, in celebration of their Grand Opening and end of the school year. The event will feature the Cass County Cattlemen grilling a free steak dinner donated by the Atlantic, Anita, and Henningsen meat lockers, along with miniature golf, bounce houses and face painting for families to enjoy.
Sunnyside Range is located on the west side of Atlantic and features a wide-open field for the driving range, shade trees and a creek around the miniature golf course, and a barn with goats and llamas that love animal crackers. Sunnyside Range will officially open May 25th; miniature golf will be open Monday-Saturday 11-8PM and Sunday Noon-6PM and the driving range is accessible now from sun-up to sundown thanks to the new credit card reading ball dispenser.
