New Iowa State Fair Manager Previews 2023 Fair

(Des Moines, IA)  —  The Iowa State Fair begins in less than 100-days. Work continues on some off-season projects, including one people will notice right inside the Grand Avenue Gate. Iowa State Fair Manager Jeremy Parsons says the public safety building is getting a second level, doubling the space. Parsons is taking over for Gary Slater who retired. Parsons spent the last 12 years running the Clay County, Iowa Fair. The Iowa State Fair is August 10th through the 20th.
