(Des Moines, IA) — The proposal giving Iowans 100-million dollars in property tax relief is going to the desk of Governor Kim Reynolds.
The measure combines several property tax levies, limiting the revenue growth of local governments.
It requires any votes on local bonds to be on general election ballots, and also gives property tax exemptions to veterans and Iowans 65 and older.
