(Council Bluffs) Council Bluffs Police are searching for a suspect who stole cash from an ATM at the U.S. Bank at 2901 West Broadway Street in Council Bluffs.
According to the press release, at around 6:06 p.m. on Friday, a technician was servicing the ATM when a black male suspect approached the technician and assaulted him so he could gain access to the machine. The suspect stole cash from the machine and left the area in a silver four-door vehicle. The technician was not seriously hurt during the robbery.
Officers searched the area and did not locate the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the Council Bluffs Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division at 712-328-4728.
