(NAFB) Once the spring planting season is over and school is out, summer becomes a great time for rural families to take a vacation. The AARP 2023 Travel Trend survey revealed that most travelers are less worried about COVID-19 risks, inflation is impacting travel plans, and people are spending less this year than in 2022.
AARP Oklahoma State Director Sean Voskuhl shares a few travel tips to keep costs down when on vacation this summer.
The best way to plan your next trip, Voskuhl says, is online. But, he says be wary of the reviews.
And always remember, some deals are indeed, to good to be true.
