-Missouri Western has the Drake Relays and Kip Janvrin Open this week, followed by the MIAA Championships May 5th-7th.
Drew Engler, Freshman, Track and Field, Simpson
-Simpson will host the Kip Janvrin Open this week.
Taylor McCreedy, Sophomore, Track and Field, Iowa Central
-Placed 16th in the 800 in 2:20.39 at Emporia State.
-Ran 4:45.13 to place 4th in the 1500.
-Threw the javelin 26.30 meters to place 19th.
Caroline Pellett, Sophomore, Softball, Simpson
-Simpson split with Buena Vista on Wednesday, winning game one 6-1 and losing game two 4-2. Pellett scored a run in game one and went 0/1 at the plate in game two.
-They split with Loras on Saturday, losing 3-2 and winning 10-4. Pellett appeared as a pinch runner in both games.

-Two games against University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire were postponed.
-On Sunday they lost 3-2 and 8-0 against Coe. Engler struck out three batters in 3 1/3 innings of game two.

-Tied for 49th in the Wildcat Classic at Wayne State. Ginther shot 85 in round one and 87 in round two.

-Competed in the decathlon at the Jim Dutcher Memorial Classic and finished 3rd overall with the following places: 12th in the 100, 5th in the 110M Hurdles, 7th in the 400, 5th in the 1500, 7th in the discus, 8th in the high jump, 1st in the javelin (151-05), 1st in the shot put (39-00.5), 4th in the pole vault, and 3rd in the long jump.

-Ran on York’s 6th place 4X100 at the Jim Dutcher Memorial Classic.

-On Thursday Venteicher was named the SWCC Female Athlete of the Year.
