(Ames, IA) — This weekend’s cold weather could damage apple, peach and cherry tree blooms.
Aaron Steil, Iowa State University Extension Horticulture. He says flowering ornamental trees may also be nipped by the cold. Steil also says if you have anything planted in a container, bring it indoors if you can.
He says tulips and other perennials should survive the cold.
