Storms Forecast to Develop in Southwest Iowa Later Today

(Des Moines) According to Andrew Anscorge from the National Weather Service in Des Moines, Thunderstorms will impact southwest Iowa later today. Anscorge says today will start quiet, with temperatures nearing 80 degrees, but that will change late this afternoon.

Anscorge says another round of possible severe weather is expected to pop up early Thursday morning between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Anscorge says much cooler temperatures are forecast for Thursday through Tuesday.
