(Atlantic) The Atlantic School Board held a special meeting this morning regarding the Superintendent search process.
Current Superintendent Steve Barber recently resigned. Given the timing that the board has, they agreed that hiring an interim superintendent would be best.
The board noted that it would be possible that the interim Superintendent could become full-time.
The board will post the Superintendent position for 10-days, closing the application period on April 27th. The plan is to hold interviews the first week of May and they will hopefully have a decision by the second or third week of May.
