(Fort Dodge) Atlantic Alum and Iowa Central Community College track standout Taylor McCreedy recently announced her decision to run for Northwest Missouri State University after graduating from ICCC this spring.
McCreedy says she made up her mind after she visited the campus.
McCreedy is an eight-time Junior College All-American at Iowa Central-three times in Cross Country/half marathon, four times All-American Indoors, and earned All-American honors last spring. This distance runner has already qualified for the National Outdoor Meet in the 5K and Steeple Chase this spring. McCreedy says her Junior College accolades stemmed from hard work and sacrifice.
The Northwest Missouri State University coaches have presented her with several race options.
McCreedy says while Junior College has been competitive, she is looking forward to the new competition at the Division II level and seeing how much she can grow.
