(Anita) The CAM Facility Committee appearing in front of the School Board on Monday night recommends closing the north elementary building and housing the Pre-K through 6th-grade Students in Massena and 7th through 12th grade in Anita.
Schools Superintendent Paul Croghan thanked the committee for all their work on the study and informational meetings. The committee’s consideration of the cost of building maintenance of the North Elementary in Anita and the South Elementary in Massena and the general fund savings was similar between the two.
The CAM School Board will make the final decision in May.
