(Creston) Southwestern Community College won the national title in Sporting Clays held March 23rd and 24th in San Antonio.
Atlantic graduates Logan Eilts and Joe Sonntag contributed to the team.
The Spartans also took second place for Classic All-American, fourth in Super Sporting Clays, fifth in Skeet, and seventh in Trap at the ACUI National Championships.
Eilts shot 94/100 in Trap and Sonntag 89/100. Each were personal bests. Eilts shot 90/100 in Super Sporting Clays.
