Funeral Services for 86-year-old Pat Nelson of Greenfield will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle, Iowa, with burial in the Greenfield Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the church following the burial. Pastor Steven Broers will officiate the service. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Open Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at the lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The family will greet friends on Tuesday evening at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to the Pat Nelson Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Nelson of Greenfield; three children, Pam Hanson (Phil) of Zimmerman, Minnesota, Mike Nelson (Lori) of Greenfield and Doug Nelson (JoAnn) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three grandchildren, Eric Nelson (Christa) of Grimes, Grant Nelson (Amber) of Osceola and Dr. Jon Hanson of Boston, Massachusetts; brother-in-law, Jim Nelson of Winterset, Iowa; other relatives and friends.
