(Pella) The Central College indoor boys track meet was held Friday in Pella. There were two immediate coverage area squads in the field and they both had plenty to cheer about. Exira-EHK and CAM each fared well.
Exira-EHK had Cash Emgarten win the 400 in 54.319. He placed 4th in the 60 in a new school record of 7.343. Emgarten took 5th in 23.857 in the 200. Derrek Kommes tied for 4th in the High Jump, clearing 5-10. Exira-EHK had a 9th place 4X200 in 1:44.710. The Spartans had Eric Wilson 17th in the 800 in 2:25.178.
CAM occupied three of the finals spots in the 60M Hurdles. Jack Follmann was 3rd in 8.77, Sam Foreman 4th in 8.80, and Collin Bauer 6th in 8.96. 6th in the 400 for CAM was Jack Follmann in 55.002. In the 800 Cale Maas ran 8th in 2:14.737. Corbin Peach earned 11th in the shot put with a throw of 40-10.25. Gavin Clayton ran 5:22.893 to place 23rd in the 1600. Sam Foreman for CAM was 25th in the 60 in 7.646.
