Harrison Louis Metcalf was born on April 28, 2021, at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, IA. God decided in the early morning of Sunday, March 12, 2023, that he needed another angel.
Harrison (Harry Butts) was a very happy baby boy. His giggles would light up the room. He was very loving to his siblings and cousins. Harry enjoyed eating his pop tarts and playing with his toy trucks. His favorite thing at the park was going down the slide. He played with dinosaurs and many animals at home and loved watching Cocomelon Cartoons. Often, Harry would wake up in the middle of the night to play peek-a-boo and growl. He was a very busy little man, always on the go. Harry was a talented fast learner who knew some sign language instead of talking.
We knew you had to go way too soon, and we trust that you are fishing with your grandpa Bob and Arthur and will be in good hands. We can’t believe you are gone. But please know that many loving family members and dearest friends will greatly miss you.
“Our dearest Harrison, we will miss your sweet smile looking up at us. The way your giggle would melt our hearts. We will miss the warmth of your cuddles and the smell of your soft hair. But most of all, your tiny hands reaching for ours.” – Love, Mom & Dad
