(Adair Co) The Adair County Board of Supervisors on Wednesday approved a resolution to withdraw from Workforce Innovation.
Board Chairman Jerry Walker said eight supervisors in southwest Iowa voted last week voted to withdraw from the 28E Agreement with the State of Iowa and refuse the funding for 2023.
Walker said the 18 counties in Western Iowa have already withdrawn and so far there are 42 counties that have pulled out of Workforce and are going to turn it back over to the state.
