Missing Council Bluffs woman found deceased; Death considered suspicious

(Council Bluffs) The Council Bluffs Police Department says 60-year-old Ilene Gowen, who was reported missing on February 14^th, was found deceased.

On Sunday, Ms. Gowen’s body was located by Deputies of the Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office in an area outside the Council Bluffs city limits. Her death is considered suspicious.

Anyone with information on Ilene’s whereabouts on, or after, February 13^th is asked to contact the Council Bluffs Police Department at 712-890-5400, option 3.
