(Mills Co) Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Mills County Friday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says 59-year-old Felix Ngala, of Bellevue, Nebraska, was driving a 2008 Honda Civic westbound on Highway 34 at the 5-mile marker and lost control. The vehicle slid across the median into the eastbound lanes and struck an eastbound semi, driven by 63-year-old David Scroggins, of Red Oak.
Felix Ngala was transported to Bergan Mercy in Omaha by Glenwood Rescue. 46-year-old Yensa Elizabeth, of Bellevue, Nebraska, was transported to Bergan Mercy in Omaha by Silver City Rescue.
