(Audubon) The Audubon school’s renovation construction project is on budget and on time. Audubon Schools Superintendent Eric Trager reported to the School Board on Monday night crews are nearly finished with the upper-level project of the school.
In March 2020, Audubon School Patrons approved a $7.5 million bond issue to upgrade the more significant portions of the buildings that are 1965 vintage. The district was operating with six different HVAC systems, and the goal is to consolidate the operations and dispose of some of the old equipment that has reached the end of its useful life. All the buildings will be touched with significant renovations and minor facelifts to the newer portions of the buildings.
