(Griswold) Over the past several months, the Griswold School Board discussed a request from a non-certified staff member for early retirement benefits.
Griswold Schools Superintendent Dave Henrichs says after several motions and amendments, the board voted 5-2 to offer Diane Kaiser an early retirement package of $14,040.00 to be paid evenly over the next three years.
Earlier in the year, the Griswold School Board deactivated the early retirement policy to encourage people to retire when it is hard to find replacements.
