24 girls wrestling programs compete at Lewis Central’s Titan Starcade including SWAT 2nd and Riverside 12th

(Council Bluffs) Lewis Central defended their home mats on Monday with a team championship at the Titan Starcade. Lewis Central scored 193 points for the win. Runner-up was SWAT with 148. Missouri Valley, Millard North, and Sergeant Bluff-Luton rounded out the top five.

The Titans sent seven to the finals and crowed five champs. SWAT was led by individual champ Grace Britten. Ady Lundquist, Haley Armstrong, and Evy Marlin all came in 2nd. Jazz Christensen and Ellen Gerlock placed 3rd. Placing 4th were Lilliana Tafoya Paige Baier, and Lily Johnson.

Molly Allen and Khloie Corum each won a championship for the Riverside girls. The Lady Dawgs scored 63 points to place 12th. Carly Henderson came in 2nd. Kia Meek and Danika Feigenbutz were both 3rd.
