(Greenfield) Nodaway Valley has a score to settle when they face Class 2A #15 Panorama on Thursday.
The Wolverine girls were ousted by the Panthers in the regional final round last season. Coach Brian Eisbach remembers it well.
The Wolverines have built a lot of momentum this season. They had plenty to cheer about in last Thursday’s win against Lenox including a career scoring milestone for junior Lindsey Davis.
Nodaway Valley is undefeated in conference play. Their only setbacks are against Class 3A #4 Solon, Class 3A #15 Atlantic, and Class 1A #7 St. Albert.
Nodaway Valley enters Thursday’s tilt with Panorama at 9-3. Lindsey Davis averages 26.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 5.5 steals per game. Izzy Eisbach contributes 13.1 points, 5.1 rebounds. 5 assists, and 4.1 steals per contest. The Panthers are 11-1.
