(Atlantic) The Cass County Board of Supervisors approved the appointment of longtime County employee Mark Knudsen to Maintenance Superintendent in the Cass County Engineers Department.
Cass County Engineer Trent Wolken. He says there were nine applicants for the position. Wolken says the promotion of Knudsen within the department will open up his job, which will be posted for five business days as required by the employee’s agreement. Wolken says this will be a domino effect, and if no one applies for the open positions, then it will go out to an external candidate for whatever work is left open.
