(Montgomery Co) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday opened the sealed bids for Fuel. Two bids were received and the bid from Eric Anderson of Stanton in the amount of $1,128.75 was approved.
The Supervisors also received a Secondary Roads Report from Barry Byers, Assistant to the County Engineer.
Last week, Rep. Cindy Axne announced that $23,770,522 that will go toward 15 community projects in Iowa’s Third Congressional District was included in the government spending bill. $2,000,000 of that is to replace a bridge on 250th Street between Evergreen Avenue and G Avenue in Montgomery County.
In other action, the Oath of Office was administered to all of the Elected Officials from the General Election.
The next regular meeting is scheduled to Tuesday, January 3.
