Historical Building Of Iowa Under Renovation

(Des Moines, IA)  —  The Iowa Historical Building in Des Moines is undergoing a multi-year transformation.  Gone are the original pyramid-shaped skylights that leaked.

Michael Moraine with the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs says the building and exhibits will stay open during renovations.  The building is also open over the winter break from school.
