Fontanelle Special City Council Election Results

(Fontanelle) Five people ran for three seats at Tuesday’s Fontanelle City Council special election.

According to the Adair County Auditor’s Office, Dianna Goetz, Dawn Brown, and Carol M. Barrett were the top three vote-getters. Jeffrey Ivan Thompson and Lane A. Ellis also ran.

Goetz received 52 votes, Brown, 44, and Barrett garnered 40 votes. Lane Ellis mustered 33 votes, and Jeffrey Ivan Thompson, 26.
