(Creston) The Creston Police Department arrested three people and received a theft report.
Police arrested 41-year-old Gregory James Clair of Creston Thursday at the Creston Union County Law Enforcement Center. Authorities charged Clair with 18 counts of Sex Abuse-Child Under 12, four counts of Incest, and two counts of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child. Clair is being held in the Union County Jail on $495,000 cash.
Creston Police arrested 35-year-old Brandon Hurshel Whitfield of Creston on Friday at 300 N. Pine Street. Officers charged Whitfield on two Union County Warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of eluding at speeds over 25 miles per hour over the limit, an Aggravated Misdemeanor, and a warrant for failing to appear on a count of domestic abuse, assault injury, or mental illness, 1st offense. Police transported Whitfield to the Union County Jail. Whitefield posted a bond and was released.
Creston Police arrested 44-year-old Michelle Robin Spaulding, of Creston, on Sunday at the intersection of Walnut and Union Streets for OWI 1st Offense. Officers transported Spaulding to the Union County Jail and released her on bond.
Lilian Rose Ray, of 809 W Adams, reported to the Police the theft of a broken-down vehicle stolen from her driveway. The estimated loss is $500.00.
