Connie Viether, age 75, of Atlantic, IA, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Atlantic Specialty Care in Atlantic, IA.
Connie is survived by her husband Dennis of Atlantic; children Cindy Hawkinson of Atlantic, Rachel (Jeff) Clausen of Atlantic, Kevin Viether of Council Bluffs; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Richard (Carol Roberts) Blanchard of Creston, IA; brothers-in-law, Larry (Jana) Viether and Dale Viether all of Clarinda, IA; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; her father and mother-in-law Kenneth and Viola Viether; brother-in-law Richard Viether; sister-in-law Gail Viether.
Graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Brighton Township Cemetery, near Marne, IA, with Rev. Garry DeGeest officiating.
Open visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic, IA.
