Mercy One Removes Electronic Health Records Amid IT Security Incident

(Des Moines, IA)  —  MercyOne Central Iowa is making some online adjustments after an IT security incident this week.  Mercy is taking certain systems offline, including electronic health records as a precautionary step.  Computer issues within the system early this week impacted some Mercy facilities.  Mercy tells WHO Radio News its facilities are following protocols for system outages and taking steps to minimize the disruption.
