(Creston) A Creston teen was transported to the hospital following an accident in Creston Saturday afternoon.
The Creston Police Department says a 15-year-old male was driving a 2007 Pontiac north on Sumner Avenue at approximately 12:19 p.m. The teen said he fell asleep at the wheel and by the time he woke up he saw the rear end of a truck and it was too late to turn away. The Pontiac crossed two lanes of traffic, hitting a curb and then hit a pickup truck, which then hit another parked pickup truck.
The teen was transported to Greater Regional Hospital by EMS .
