(Ames) ISU is 3-0 in football for the first time since 2012. The Cyclones turned in a convincing 43-10 decision against Ohio on Saturday in Ames.
Hunter Dekkers completed 28/36 throws with 268 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. Iowa State ran for 163 yards, topped by Jirehl Brock with seven attempts for 76 yards. Xavier Hutchinson caught nine passes for 93 yards and a score. Harlan alum Will McLaughlin registered one tackle.
Iowa State starts Big 12 play next week when they host Baylor.
