(Adair Co) Adair County Supervisor Jodie Hoadley on Wednesday asked that an item be placed on the next Board meeting agenda to discuss sending a letter to the Iowa Utilities Board stating that the Board is not in favor of eminent domain for anything but government purposes.
Hoadley said she also feels they need to get on board with getting an ordinance in place since Navigator’s Phase B plan is to go from Menlo to Adams County through Adair County.
Hoadley said she feels this would show that they stand with the other counties as far as eminent domain and how it is used in their county and the state.
