(Undated) — A GoFundMe account set up for an Iowa sex trafficking victim is going viral and already exceeds 225-thousand dollars (as of 2:35 p.m.). Seventeen-year-old Pieper Lewis of Des Moines pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and willful injury for stabbing a man to death. She says 37-year-old Zachary Brooks was one of her captors and had raped her repeatedly. Lewis was sentenced to probation with no jail time, but she was ordered to pay 150-thousand dollars restitution to Brooks’ family. The money raised will go to cover that and other legal bills – and will be hers for college, to start a business, or to help other sex crime victims.
