(Anita) CAM is looking to rebound after falling short to West Harrison 29-22, ending CAM’s regular season winning since week 9, 2019.
CAM Head Coach Barry Bower says turnovers and big plays cost the Cougars last week. Despite the loss, there were some positive things.
Coach Bower says they turn around and play a good East Mills squad with athletes all the way around. Bower says one thing he was impressed in the team’s loss to West Harrison last week was the team’s competitive edge. He noted the player’s mental toughness despite facing some adversity.
Coach Bower is impressed with East Mills’ leadership across the board.
Davis McGrew and Mason Crouse lead the receiver corps. with a combined 366 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Zach Thornburg is the Wolverine’s triggerman completing 26/61 passes for 424 yards.
Ryan Stortenbecker leads the team defensively with 27 tackles, nine for losses. Davis McGrew has 21 stops; 15 are solos.
Jack Follman is CAM’s leading tackler with 29.5, 19 solos, and two tackles for loss. Kegan Croghan has 17.5 tackles, Kaden Hensley 15.5.
