The Bulldogs endured a 41-0 loss at Red Oak last week. The Tigers scored 25 points in the second half to open up the final margin.
Junior quarterback Grady Jeppesen completed 17 of his 31 throws for 160 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. Freshman Jaxon Gordon and Sophomore Taven Moore accounted for 80 of the team’s 82 rushing yards. Gordon posted 45 yards on 14 carries and Moore had five rushes for 35 yards. Ayden Salais caught seven passes for 59 yards and Gordon tallied 49 receiving yards on five catches.
St. Albert is coming off of a 21-17 loss to Treynor in Week 1. Last season, Riverside notched their first win over St. Albert in the Varsity Bound era (since 2008). The Bulldogs won a 49-36 contest against the Falcons one year ago.
