Joseph Burg, 61, of Bridgewater passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Mass of Christian Burial: Will be held on Monday, august 22, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Massena with burial in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Massena. Father Phillip Bempong will officiate the service. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com. The Lamb Funeral Home of Massena is in charge of professional arrangements.
Open Visitation: Will be held at the Lamb Funeral Home in Massena on Sunday, August 21, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Sunday, August 21, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Massena.
Memorials: Memorials may be directed to the Joseph Burg Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
Survivors: He is survived by his son, Joseph Leo Burg and wife Mary of Bridgewater; two daughters, Crystal Lunsford of San Antonio, Texas and Angela Burg of Boone, Iowa; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Charlie Burg and wife Connie of Atlantic and Michael Burg of Pella; three sisters, Georgia Yearington of Osceola, Diana Daugherty of Massena and Debra Nichols and husband Wayne of Atlantic; other relatives and friends.
