(Littleton, CO) — A four-year-old Iowa boy has been killed by a falling tree in Colorado. Maxamillion Wood was with his family visiting friends in Littleton Friday. KCCI/TV reports the group was using a zip line tied to two trees in the backyard when one of the trees gave way and fell on the boy. He died later at a hospital. The victim’s 14-year-old sister was also injured but she is expected to recover. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says it is still investigating but feels the death was a “tragic accident.”
