(Des Moines, IA) — A group proposing a third carbon dioxide pipeline in Iowa is asking the Iowa Utilities Board to schedule a series of public meetings. The pipeline would service ethanol plants in eastern Iowa. Wolf Carbon Solutions says the pipeline would connect Archer Daniels Midland plants in Cedar Rapids and Clinton with the carbon dioxide ended up in Decatur, Illinois. Public meetings would be held in September in Linn, Johnson, Cedar, Clinton, and Scott counties. The utilities board is already reviewing plans for two other proposed pipelines in the state.
