(Red Oak) A Montgomery County man suffered critical injuries in a motorcycle accident in Red Oak.
Red Oak Police say the accident happened at 10:30 p.m. at North 5th and East Elm Streets. Authorities say 30-year-old Nathan Allen Aldrich of Red Oak, operating a 2021 Harley Davidson owned by Austin Wayne Hale, lost control of the motorcycle.
The bike skidded on its right side, gouged into the roadway, and flipped onto its’ left flank, ejecting Aldrich under a parked minivan. Red Oak Rescue transported Aldrich to the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital and later airlifted him to UNMC.
Authorities believe alcohol and speed contributed to the crash.
