(Oskaloosa, IA) — Oskaloosa police are investigating the death of a Newton woman last weekend. Alison Cooper was taken to Mahaska Health where she died. KCRG/TV reports police have arrested 35-year-old Brandon Lee Slobe of Oskaloosa. So far, he faces drug charges. The Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiners will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of Cooper’s death. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is working with the local police on the case.
