Griswold 8, Fremont-Mills 0
Lydia Greiman, Karly Millikan, and Joanna Reynolds each drove in two runs. Reynolds hit a pair of doubles and a single. Whitney Pennock finished with three hits. Brenna Rossell allowed three hits, one walk, and struck out 11.
Exira-EHK 3, Woodbine 1
Macy Emgarten struck out 19 batters in a 2-hitter with no walks. Alisa Partridge and Mollie Rasmussen each had a double and an RBI. Gemini Goodwin also drove in a run.
Missouri Valley 8, Audubon 7
The Lady Reds pushed across the winning run in the bottom of the 7th. Audubon’s offense was led by Michelle Brooks with a grand slam. Jordan Porsch had a single and a double with one RBI. Kali Irlmeier struck out 8 batters in five innings pitched.
Glenwood 6, Atlantic 5 (10 innings)
Atlantic 3, Glenwood 1
Zoey Kirchhoff struck out 16 batters in the game one setback and Jada Jensen drilled a home run. In game two Ava Rush went 2/4 with seven steals and two runs scored. Riley Wood allowed one unearned run on two hits and no walks with four strikeouts.
Baseball
Audubon 15, Missouri Valley 14
The Wheelers scored five runs in the top of the 7th to lead 15-8. Missouri Valley’s rally came up just short with six runs in the final frame. Cooper Nielsen was 4/5 with a double and three RBI. Gavin Smith and Braden Wessel each had three hits including a double and drove in three runs. Alex Foran Jay Remsburg, and Carson Meaike all had three hit games.
Fremont-Mills 16, Griswold 1
The Tigers had a double and an RBI from Zane Johnson. Bode Wyman singled for Griswold’s only other hit.
Atlantic 3, Glenwood 1
Glenwood 12, Atlantic 0
Easton O’Brien and Garrett McLaren scored for the Trojans in their two-run 7th. Wyatt Redinbaugh had a single and an RBI. McLaren had one hit. They drew six walks in the win. Lane Nelson pitched the win with 7 strikeouts and only one walk. Glenwood’s offense managed seven hits. Kayden Anderson tossed a five inning perfect game in the second contest with seven strikeouts.
Ogden 9, ACGC 3
The Chargers had two hits each from Brock Littler and Tegan Slaybaugh. Slaybaugh and Miles Kading each doubled and drove in a run. ACGC baseball will air on KSOM Tuesday when they travel to Exira-EHK.
Treynor 11, Riverside 0
Riverside got one single apiece from Grady Jeppesen, Garrett Hough, Aiden Bell, and Kyler Rieken. Drawing a walk were Jeppesen, Nathan Messerschmidt, and Keaten Rieken. Treynor’s offense was led by Brady Coffman going 2/3 with a home run and six RBI.
